The 15th International Master in Donation and  Transplantation of Organs, Tissues and Cells

objectives

To provide healthcare professionals with the tools and resources that may support their work and the development of the multidisciplinary tasks in donor-transplant coordination, tissue banking and cell therapy programs.

To optimize decision-making in the organ procurement and transplant processes, to boost teamwork and best practices, and to promote the use of technology to share information and knowledge.

To build a consulting network between the participants and the international institutions that take part in the program.

To increase the rates of donation and transplantation around the world.

METHODOLOGY

“Continuous pedagogic advice from the faculty members and educational staff”.

Knowledge transfer is done in a continuous and direct way.

Participants set their own learning rhythm, adapting it to their needs and capabilities.

PROGRAM

It is a 60 ECTS* Master that offers four different pathways with a modular structure.

*1 ECTS credit  corresponds to 25 hours of work.

Participants can take the Master in one or two academic years.

In case of enroling the modules separately, participants can take the Master in five academic years.

ENROLMENT INFORMATION

In order to be accepted, students have to send their CV and a motivation letter to dyt@ub.edu

Once admitted, students should pay a fee of 100 euros before the 30th of June in order to book a place.

This fee will be discounted from the Master fee once the student formalizes the enrolment.

Enrolment

To be eligible for admission to a Master’s degree program at the University of Barcelona you need to have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent first academic degree from an internationally recognised university.

Language

The official language of the Master is English. Other languages will be accepted for the final Master Dissertarion
